Indeed, she's all smile and good mood, a real pleasure! I'm still amazed at how one single broad smile can make my heart melt in a split second.

While I'm at it, found a couple pictures of my grandfather (my father's father) in the mid 50's. He was a bus driver and mechanic. On the second pic, he's sitting in the modified surplus Dodge truck they used as a tow vehicle. His brother is standing on the left. My grandfather passed away in 2009, and I keep very fond memories of him. He was a mostly silent man, a bit rough around the edges, but he would have gone great deals to entertain us as kids. I was one of the very very few that could have him to talk, and at everybody's surprise, laugh.

My precious girl is turning 7 tomorrow. Our family tradition is birthday cake for breakfast, but with Hubby leaving at 5:30 in the morning, he would have missed out tomorrow. So, we had cake tonight. Homemade funfetti with cream cheese frosting.
