This one is also a winner the faded parts really compliments its original color.

I've posted pictures of my well abused Schott before and made the comment that it is only the second most "salty" jacket in my MC club. The most salty is owned by a member who rides 30,000 to 50,000 miles a years. He and his wife take a couple of two week road trips a year, in addition to locals and overnighters.

Due to sun exposure and damage, it needs a treatment of Pecard. Unfortunately, a coat or two of conditioner would do what it's designed to do, and the patina would be lost (temporarily). So, I leave it as is. I imagine it has another 10 years or so before it starts to crack. At that point I will probably bring out the Pecard to stop further cracking.

In looking at the pictures, I noticed that the lower back of the jacket is not as faded as the rest of the jacket. I wondered why that was until I realized my lower back is against the backrest while I am riding.

Can you give any details on the jacket on the right? That's an attractive pattern. I'm curious what the back looks like too.

Jacket came without a label. Don't know much about it. I've owned it for several years. I bought it because I too thought it is an interesting design. The back upper yoke has rotted out. Not even sure what leather it is.

Here is a link to more pictures.

In this album you see it pictured with a Monarch jacket. Originally I thought it may be a Monarch, hence the comparison. It is not a Monarch.

This is my Schott MC jacket. It is lightweight and gets a lot of use. I have probably 5 or 6 other dedicated MC jackets, but the Schott gets the most wear as it comfortable to wear, and doesn't take up much room in the saddlebag.

This simple cafe racer is probably from the 60’s, judging by the zippers (all Talon), it’s also more likely made by Fidelity (Boston company)suggested by details on the jacket construction ( trace of a zip removable pile lining, chain hanger at neck).
No tag for indication of maker or size.
The jacket is heavily worn and was basically in a burgundy color. Time and wear brought it this AMAZING patina, with orange, reddish brown variations.
A bit of challenge for me as I have to repair some torn stitches, holes in the leather, frayed material at sleeves, replace some pocket pouches, replace the destroyed lining ... the list is long, but I very much enjoy doing this in my free time ! I’m so happy with the work ahead of me to make this jacket great looking again.
(Actually, I have already repaired the sleeve, replaced the pochets, re-sewed torn parts, ...)
