This simple cafe racer is probably from the 60’s, judging by the zippers (all Talon), it’s also more likely made by Fidelity (Boston company)suggested by details on the jacket construction ( trace of a zip removable pile lining, chain hanger at neck).
No tag for indication of maker or size.
The jacket is heavily worn and was basically in a burgundy color. Time and wear brought it this AMAZING patina, with orange, reddish brown variations.
A bit of challenge for me as I have to repair some torn stitches, holes in the leather, frayed material at sleeves, replace some pocket pouches, replace the destroyed lining ... the list is long, but I very much enjoy doing this in my free time ! I’m so happy with the work ahead of me to make this jacket great looking again.
(Actually, I have already repaired the sleeve, replaced the pochets, re-sewed torn parts, ...)
