Amazing. Thanks, Mr Bern.

Did anyone else see the 1987 Arnold Schwarzenegger movie "The Running Man"?

It was supposed to take place in 2019. Remember the part where Merv Griffin wanted to make it appear to the TV audience like Schwarzenegger was killed, so Griffin had his hired goons actually kill another guy & film it, then used a supercomputer to image-map Schwarzenegger's face to the footage

This technology reminds me of what was being done to female models in the 1981 film 'Looker'...the difference, of course, was that they all died mysterious deaths after the 3D scanning was done.

Fascinating - I guess now, seeing a film of someone committing a crime is no longer proof they did it.

I guess they could write image-map-detecting software, to analyze supposed "footage" to determine if the facemap is static / unrealistic in some way... but then they could introduce random factors in the facemapping to thwart detection by other software, and it would become a battle similar to those who write viruses, and virus detection software...

"we are entering the matrix" lol
