Apologies for the duplicate thread but Victor advised me to give the full details of the background of this jacket.

The reason for buying the jacket was to test to see if a 44 is a good size for me, and I have decided that what I need is a 42, hence the sale.
The jacket was made by Real McCoys NZ for a waist gunner in a B-17 for the film Redtails. The wearer was an amputee stuntman who had his leg shot off by fire from a German fighter plane. During the stunt the jacket was not worn and was only ever used for about 20 seconds at the Pinewood sound stage where some of the scenes were shot, as it was not needed. At the end of the shoot, the stunt man Terry was allowed to keep the jacket and he has never worn it. He has also worked on Gladiator, Troy and Band of Brothers. The poor man lost his leg in an traffic accident in Bosnia where he was in the RAF.
This jacket is one of the last ever to be made out of Fenland sheepskin, the pile is very dense and warm with a wonderful golden colour. In mint condition apart from a couple of minor scuffs on the sleeves added by the effects team for the film. The neck belts have never been fastened and the waist belts are in the original holes used for the shoot. Unlike some heavy jackets, this is easy and comfortable to wear, in particular the arms are very comfortable and the jacket could easily be worn while driving. Currently these jackets retails at about £1200 or $1800
The B-2 cap is also unworn and is a size 7 5/8 Perry Sportswear. I know nothing about these caps other than that they don't suit me ! I think the caps are around the £125 mark ?
I would like £800 for both items or £750 for the jacket and £65 for the cap is sold separately, which would be a shame. Both prices plus costs.
