Greetings Everyone!
Time to find a new home for my NORSHOR A-2 with classic berry knits. This jacket is in a roomy size 46 and made of wonderfully supple HH with an amazing “pre-aged” over-dye effect. Sadly, it’s just a tad too short for me in length. I bought it off-the-rack when visiting Mark Fisher at his Minneapolis workshop to pick up another custom-made A-2 (in the exact size needed) when I spotted this one. Always loved the berry knits and convinced myself that the shorter waist would work. Well, it just doesn’t on me.
Mark has really nailed the depot re-dye look on jackets that were returned to the depot for refurbishing after use during the war. The re-dye provides a deep, rich, almost burgundy tint, and although brand new (worn only twice), has that seasoned look. Usual cotton lining. The hide is beautifully matched and grainy. No damage or any kind and no funky odors. Smoke-free house. Our cats never wore it either! Just been hanging in the closet since acquiring it in August of this year.
MEASUREMENTS: (laid flat)
P-2-P: 23”
SLEEVE (from point of shoulder to end of relaxed knit): 25.5”
LENGTH (from base of collar to end of relaxed knit waist): 24”
SHOULDERS: 20”
WAIST (taken just above the knits): 20.5”
PRICE: New, it would run about $1000, ASKING $580 SHIPPED CONUS. International to pay all extra shipping costs. PM please with questions!
