I bought this jacket new and have never worn it except to try it on. Other than the color (Air Force blue), it is a spot-on repro of a 1968 Alpha MA-1. Unlike modern Alpha repros, which have polyester insulation and modern YKK or "Alpha" zippers, this jacket has wool insulation and a NOS blackened-brass Scovil zipper. It also has 100% wool knits---not the polywool belended ones, which "pill" badly and are often found on cheaper repros. In weight and fit, this MA-1 feels exactly like a 1968 original. The tag even bears a 1968 production date and 1969 DSA number.
