Eyelets on Akubra Kindara

Hi everyone,

I have a akubra kindara which I absolutely love, still amazed at what a nice hat Akubra makes.
Anyhow this is going to be my trail hat and foul weather hat, so I am going to add some eyelets to the hat to help increase ventilation. Any opinions on placement? I was thinking more towards the top of the crown since hot air rises versus lower by the brim. Any thoughts, suggestions would be much appreciated.

You could make it look like the Akubra Riverina with a triangle configuration

Most Akubras have triangles or 3 holes in a line, but I like the diamond that I saw on a Pilbara.

Yes, the lower hole is likely intended for a strap, but I still like it best.
