I don't know what or how it got whatever was on it but it was nasty! Cleaned up pretty well with cold water, mild detergent & hand washing, tho.

It's clean now so that's all that matters, someone here was giving away a bunch of material & amongst the loot was some lining stuff but I was too late, the guy before me took all that was offered [huh]

I'll just buy some of my own for my hat projects that need a lining, it doesn't look that hard to make ... I already ordered a stitch awl & that should be getting here pretty soon, that'll make installing leather sweats easier
