To quote myself from an earlier thread, Brick is a wonderful contemporary noir film that stars modern day high school students who talk in a 1940s type gangster lingo. Strange concept, but executed beautifully, and based on what I've seen on the Moving Pictures board here, it does seem to be a local favorite. I've found an extra copy on the cheap for sale and decided to pick it up so I could pass it along.
If you've never seen the film, it's a wonderful addition to your hardboiled noir lineup and a taste of what's to come from what I can only imagine will be a great director. If you've seen it already, then perhaps you'd like to own it.
I'm not expecting much for trade here. I'm willing to trade for a nice tie clip, watch, or anything that strikes me as stylish.
I am the New Kid on the Block around here, so I really have no qualms sending first so that the recipient doesn't have to worry about anything. Send your item after you've popped the movie in the DVD player and looked the case over.
What say you Fedora Lounge?
