On Hiatus. Really. Or Not.
My wife Helen and I try to go to the NAAM WWII weekend every year, but she's a full time art student and we've missed the last three years due to a conflict with her Spring show. But this year her show is the weekend before Reading.

I have full Class A USAAF summer uniform, but she's in need of a dress or two for day time and the hangar dances.

She's 5' 7" and relatively thin, but with a large bust and a slight tummy. Any experience with the Stop Staring brand of clothes? Any SPECIFIC suggestions?

Thanks in advance! I will post some photos tomorrow.

Hi, I like Stop Staring. The quality is very good and the designs are retro style without being costume-y. I wear many of them to work.
For a woman of 5'7" the length will be probably be perfect. The bust lines are designed to be flattering for most with a wrap or rouching. If you are purchasing online, Daddy-os has a good selection at a very fair price. Great customer service too. http://www.daddyos.com/retro/retroldy.html

I purchased one Stop Staring dress that was fitted to the knees (a red with black polka dots) I liked it though it wasn't lined, I assumed because the fabric was a blend mix with lycra. Fred you've seen me in person so you know Helen and I are similar size...if I were to buy more I would probably go with XL just to enjoy a little more sitting ease and so it doesn't ride up when walking.

You beat me to it. I saw this one. A very flattering dress, for sure.
