Alan I don't know where or how you scored that hat but a vicuna mens jacket (not suit) usually sells for upwards of USD5K. You'd have to give give it grail status as "score of a lifetime".

So it's a Beaver "100" that's made out of an entirely different animal? Marketing guys should be shot.

Not to disagree with your concern about marketing but Beaver 100 was not indicating percentage I think, rather price. This is a Neiman Marcus take on the Stetson 100 from the same era. I assume some vicuna content was thrown in to up the ante in traditional NM fashion. Haven't seen it yet.

Thanks, hopefull... caught it by chance. I have another NM Churchill - a more recent hat - which I like, will let you know how this one fares when it arrives.

I was under the impression that Churchill made the hat while Vicuna (the proper name of a person) was in the room. It could say made with Steve, but that's less desirable.
