This is my favorite of the Cheese Alien commercials. I don't know what's funnier, the cheese aliens or the manic-sounding announcer.

Did someone mention Carnac the Magnificent? This is me several years ago (and thirty pounds heavier- ugh!) at a Halloween party.

I once got into a euchre tournament and beat the pants off the other players, who were all a good 20 years my senior :D

I'm flabbergasted that someone in Toronto knows how to play euchre. Virtually everyone in Indiana plays, but I have seldom run into people from outside of Indiana that know how to play. Do a lot of people in Ontario play euchre? We play mostly single deck euchre with two pairs of partners. I used to play a lot of double-deck bid euchre years ago, but it's been a long time. I also like to play hearts. I played a lot of pinochle when I was in college. I couldn't play now since it's been thirty-six years. I still remember how the tricks go, but I forget all the melt. I also used to play canasta with my great-aunt when I was a kid, but I couldn't tell you the first thing about the game now. My grandmother was a bridge fanatic and belonged to a bridge club. I never did learn how to play, but always wanted to. Indiana is very big on card-playing, at least up in the north central part of the state where I originally came from. That probably comes from the days when there wasn't much else to do in the winter after the chores were done and there wasn't much on television.

Well, we play that in Michigan, but as the family was out west, it was harder to find people that knew much about it. I think it is more cultural for midwesterners!
