This is actually a hoax. The photos have been well known for decades. They've been in the National Archives, where anyone could view them, not in her personal collection.
After the Hitler Diaries, the same newspaper, the Sunday Times, also published the Jack the Ripper Diaries, which also proved to be fake. I suppose in part though these things find an audience because we'd all love to see something like that for real. A fascinating insight to a historical character, it would be. Sure, in Hitler's case, we have some direct insight with Mein Kampf, but there's a difference between what a person writes for public, and what they write for their own private use. At least, pre-internet blogs there was.
