I switched to a new phone recently, so the pictures are on my laptop in my atelier. I'll get them up tomorrow. :)

So glad to hear you like it, I do however have a pic of said ribbon :)

You're an artist, Esther. A real artist!
I noticed one of the hats you made was from Tonak felt. Is that pretty good felt? I have a couple hats made from Winchester felt and I'm not impressed with their stuff at all. One hat that I have in Winchester has some obvious issues with the consistency of their dyeing process. It has a few darker splotches from the dye and it doesn't have nice uniform color throughout.

If you don't mind me butting in on the thread. I have two Tonak felts, one is a Tonak factory made and the other is the custom from Esther. The felts on both hats are great. My attraction is largely to the feel of them, soft hand but substantial. The colours are rich with real depth and a uniformity of the dye. Count me as a big fan.

Sounds like some Hatco products.

Thanks, buddy. That helps.

You're correct on one of them. The other one is probably something that would be best not to comment on. I can say that I'm definitely no fan of Winchester felt.

Well, I am used to tonak felt.
The winchester I have felt was not that great, but I have heard from others that you can get them nice and smooth through pouncing and working it.
I'm not the best to comment on it since I don't really use it.

a further note. The factory made Tonak is an inexpensive NOS I picked up from Danielle our Lounger in Italy. It came unlined with just a tip liner and a cloth sweat. I upgraded to a leather sweat and may upgrade the bow because the felt is so wonderful. It is better than the felt on any of my modern Stetsonians and then the custom from Esther is another step up from that.
