I’m just letting my eyes water up as I look at the seam work. These jackets look alive. Just crazy beautiful. Like the evolution of East West.
I was thinking exactly the same thing!
These jackets seem much more wearable to me than the East West ones I’ve seen though. I could actually see myself walking down the street in almost any one of them, smiling at people as they pass by.

I could definitely see @navetsea rock one of these...
(the jackets, not the armour!)
Lol only when collarless :D and punched with half dozen eyelets

Beautiful intricate design and panelling almost like church windows. The back panels looks very special too like polygonal model, must be very 3D form hugging yet organic looking once done.
Great project Red Devil!

East West jackets have been a bit of a guilty pleasure for a while, so these really appeal.

I like the Westerner, though I'd probably want to add another button or two to the front, and the jacket with the tassels is very cool.

Speaking of too many seams.... for them, not enough seams lol. I am curious how much they charge, & by comparison, if I order a plain one or two piece “normal jacket”, perhaps they can give me a major discount?

Never thought to ask, but I would suspect yes. The amount of work is one component of the price if I understood correctly

I should be able to let you know how that goes pretty soon. These are very wearable, and add to the cool factor :)

@red devil do they speak English at Electric Leather Studio?

Not really as far as I could tell, but happy to help anyone here :)

Edit: For the elvish vs dwaren comments here, all these jackets add +100 in cool factor as standard, then the extra characteristics change depending on the model :D

Anytime :)

That jacket is actually a sample, I was on the line with the maker just now. He wasn't sure it was the colours I wanted so made a sample first. Really impressed with this approach! Already let them know there are at least 2 more orders coming :D

@red devil the jacket looks good. I'm not sure if it'd be better to go with a single colour to tone it down, or go tritone for the full seventies experience.

So when are you asking Brian at BKS to copy it and fit an airbag system?

I noticed that the Tex (the fringed jacket) has hidden pockets.

Thanks!

The BKS jacket is going to be a completely different style, without the tech air system. It is booked for January :)
I have a modern 2 piece riding suit with the tech air system (That was the initial order I did back then).

great looking silhouette and honestly I like the back panel more than the front,
the color combo works, but with this layered panel they look more like sculpture, I think a monochrome looks better so you see different depth in the same color, or how the shadow plays on those intricate panels in the same color probably you can appreciate the detailing more, while 3 colors would make it too obvious and lost some of its artistic feel.
