One of the earliest 'Reality Television' shows screened in the UK, simply titled The Experiment, was a rerun of the Stanford Prison Experiment, though it was very, very tightly controlled (no violence allowed, etc) - almost to the point where it was debateable whether it was truly of much value. Very interesting and entertaining, though - I'd like to see it redone again. Better than Big Brother, of which 2010 will, thankfully, see the UK swansong.

You'd probably love the German movie from the early naughties, "Das Experiment". Excellent film based on the Stanford premise.
