This is a Willis & Geiger NA-1 (their 37J1B replica) a rare replica flight jacket.
This is the summer flight jacket used by the US Navy during the 1930s prior to the introduction of the goatskin AN-J-3A. This is a stylish and above all very comfortable pattern, suitable for casual use but also a smart and flattering cut.
The size is a true 44" chest.
The dimensions (zipped and laying flat) are:
Pit to pit - 24"
Down Back - 25" (excluding collar knit)
Sleeves - 26.5"
Shoulders - 19.5"
The zipper is a replica nickel 1930s Talon (with a smooth action) and the pockets are the bellows type with buttoned flaps.
The shell is made from Bedford cord fabric (with a 1930s style USN script on the chest) and is in excellent, barely worn condition (no marks, no stains to shell or lining, perfect knits, all buttons tight).
