Hey all,

I just have a quick question. I recently posted a topic about some suits that were on Ebay, but it seems that the post was deleted. My question is, what is the proper way to go about posting this information?

Thanks,

Do you mean a buyer might not want the attention?

I suppose I can kinda see the point. I mean it would suck for someone who isn't Johnny Money Bags, getting outbid by someone all the time, but at the same time, isn't that the whole point of ebay?

I won't push the issue, and I understand why the rule stands, but I must say it does suck because when I see stuff like this that I can't buy, my first thought is, "I gotta tell the Lounge people so they can get it!".

But then you have loungers who *are* Uncle Pennybags competing against those with no so much disposable income...I'm sure you can see the problem there.

I've lost quite a few auctions to loungers because someone posted about it here(when I thought I was the only one to have seen it), and being a college student I don't have hardly any money to spare.

Also some folks here might get ticked if other Loungers consistantly beat them at an auction on something. If you see something you want and the end time draws near why blab about it so others can come in and steal it from you?

They've no doubt seen it, anyway, and are hoping that noone else bids. There was an idea amongst some that the outing of hat auctions here was the reason behind the increasing prices. You'd be watching a hat for days; no bids; badly listed, crappy photos in , oh, i don't know, the stamp collecting section; then - wham!, it goes up on FLounge and suddenly it's over $100.

Some of the auctions i've won i'm glad that noone had outed it here. The prices are high enough as it is.

And i think they're relatively flexible with the rules. For example, some of the stuff is just funny, or ludicrously priced, that noone would ever bid on. They usually get okayed by the bartenders.
