Please read the description carefully - I prefer to work only through ebay on this one.

*No Reserve Auction!* Very nice heavyweight Steerhide Langlitz Columbia Motorcycle jacket. Stamped inside the pocket is the date of building this jacket - April 1993. Built by hand in Portland, Oregon this is a made to order jacket made for the original owner. See below of size details. Has a light tobacco odor. 9.0 lbs of leather and polyester lining, very comfortable to wear. Action back, snaps in place for a fur collar, but is not included. Just oiled with Bick 4, this jacket is ready for many miles of riding. No belt on this jacket or belt loops. Main zipper is a brass #10 YKK, rest are brass Talon, all appear original and have leather pulls. Hand warmer pockets are leather lined. Many unique features - see photos for details!

Not sized tagged - I would call this a 46 for a person with a tall torso, but average to less than average length arms.
  • Shoulder - 19"
  • Pit to Pit - 23"
  • Waist - 22.5"
  • Torso Length - 22.5"
  • Back Length - 29" (down the middle)
  • Sleeve Length - 24.5" (straight down)
Pay Pal Only, USA shipping at listed cost, Canada, Alaska, Hawaii for actual cost, Thanks for looking!

The fit details are really important on this jacket, and it is the reason it's up for sale just a few days after I received it. Sleeves are too short for me!

Bottom of the collar - it's a long torso jacket indeed, however the bottom area tapers downward toward the middle.
FYI I also measured the front Torso length from the top of the shoulder to the bottom hem and found this to be 23.5" See photos below.

Has a light tobacco odor.
I bet that tobacco odor disappears if you hang the jacket outside for a few days. I say that because I was on my bike one afternoon while wearing a thick cowhide jacket and came upon a small brush fire that had just ignited for some unknown reason, but was spreading fast and in danger of laddering up some trees. I parked the bike and joined a couple of guys trying to stamp it out. Between my motorcycle boots and the jacket, I was in no danger of being burned, but the smoke was thick and heavy. I left after the fire department arrived and when I got home, I could not put that jacket in the closet; it really stunk like a forest fire. I hung it outside in the breeze for a week and that smell was completely gone.

Nice jacket, good luck with the sale. With that long torso in the back, the jacket should work really well for someone on a sportbike.

^^ thanks, been tried, but it's got probably ~25 years worth of daily smoke intake. Would probalby take a few thousand miles on a bike to even make a dent in it.
