What is the internal circumference of this one? Is it a true 7 3/8, or could it possibly fit my 7 1/4 (LO) head?

Thanks for your interest, Peter - it's a full 23", so might be a touch big. I'm 7 1/4 + 1/16 and it's just a hair big, but perfectly wearable. Unfortunately (for this hat anyway) I have four Montecristis, and the others were blocked by Optimo, so fit me perfectly.

Also, just noticed a description addition leftover from a previous auction. Disregard if you saw it. The brim measurement listed in the auction is correct.
