I didn't know they still delivered on horseback. Waited for two weeks for this Adam. Finally arrived today.

Looks good DoctorJ, ribbon treatment is nice - why it was covered up is anyone's guess! Look forward to seeing it on your head.

But not surprising. It was listed under the category "Antiques > Periods & Styles > Other". The photos are especially murky. The word "fedora" appears in neither the title nor the text.

I nabbed that one. I seem to have a streak going with ancient Stetson's for low bids. 4 Stetsons this month for a total less than $140.00. I have one in the new hats section today.

For that price, if it's too crispy I'll strip it for parts to restore another.

If too small for an adult male, it probably isn't for an adult female. I'll stretch it as required and give it to one of the gals who make my coffee at the local country store. I know wife Betty won't want it, because she already has a few even nicer I couldn't pass by.
