As an aside, personally, I really, REALLY hate it when shippers use those packing peanuts. I jsust hate those things.
I ripped open a box last week and dumped a few hundred peanuts all over the kitchen / dining room. Im STILL fnding them in the corners lol
I hate those damn things too. Although I try not to open boxes inside especially from Amazon. Too many bug encounters.

Me, four!

On a positive note, the new packing peanuts are biodegradable. Just run them under water and they dissolve. They are made out of some plant something or other rather than plastic.

Holy, moley, what a catch. I have one with the box. But that box is 100 times harder to find than the hat! The hats do come up once in a while.
Thanks, Louis!
I came by one with an unmatched hat a year ago that was missing a lid so I made one. Still sold on eBay for $125! Buyer was happy to have found it.

No kidding! You devil!

Thanks, David!
LOL! This devil isn’t all bad. At least that’s what Mom says.
I have generous side, somewheres.

Really scary moment when the mailman actually came up and knocked on the door so I could check the package before he logged it in as delivered. The tape sealing the box lid was totally gone. 2 hats were loose in the box with no padding. At any point during the trip they could have fallen out.... BUT... they were both still there and in fine shape

WHEW!!!!! Got lucky.. Especially since one was a really nice older Stetson Whippet looking thing. Not bad for a $55 investment

I picked up these two nice hats from a seller in Brockville Canada. They both appear to be Canadian made Stetsons from the Brockville factory given the size tag and label. The seller didn’t mention that the marked Stetson was a Stratoliner! Although it doesn’t say made in Canada I assume it was maybe in the 1950s? It is a beautiful color with a blue/grey and at times almost purple colour. It looks barely worn. A steal at $43…

The second hat isn’t marked a Stetson but it was made for a Canadian retainer. It looks like it was sold without a liner and has a great nice light weight. Worth every penny of the $10 I paid!
