Last month it was a JBS 7XCB and this month a 50s Twenty-Five... both grail hats for me.

The age is difficult for my newbie knowledge: the liner opens to the back instead of the side and it has a plastic tip which makes me think mid fifties.... but with stars on both sweat and liner?

The liner needs some cleaning but other than that it looks pretty good.

Ran across a pair of almost new Stetson Sovereign Temples (Caribou and Sage) on ebay from the same seller today. Ive been looking to address a serious lack of light to medium grey hats on the wall, and had serious trouble trying to pick between the two. Ended up buying the Sage.... and then the seller mentioned that they came from the same old guy and they ought to stay together... made me a Godfather offer! ( one that I couldnt refuse lol). I already have a Mink Sovereign Stetson that Im rather fond of so they just HAD to come home to my place. Thinking they may be the perfect candidates to do some ribbon binding on the brim (just so I have the only bound brim Temples in my little town). Guess Im going to have to add another couple of hat hangers to the walls lol

Not really an eBay problem, but a USPS problem. Pkg shipped from TN to me in MO goes to Milton-Freewater, OR, then back to Opa Locka, FL. Can you believe that?
Anymore...YES, I can. I had a package go back and forth between different Illinois locations and the St Louis Distribution (THREE TIMES) for close to two weeks a very short time ago......

Sadly, makes total sense these days, Jack.
Directions from Hell as we travel in our hand basket.
Could use more Tea in the Bay!

I can’t believe how bad things have gotten in just the last few yrs. Like a friend said recently (paraphrasing him), I can’t believe we haven’t achieved world peace after changing the names and mascots of 15 sports teams, on sundry pancake mixes and syrup bottles! Disgusting what our priorities have become.

I know Jack, sadly i know.
You’re about my age. I always wonder what our parents thought about the “new” generation, what’s their world coming to, etc etc when say the Beatles came over from England??
I mean, if your hair thouched your collar you got kicked out of school for crying out loud!!
Wonder what they said when the show Laugh In pushed the limits of “decency”, what do you mean question the government?? it’s the Government for gosh sake!! Oh….Watergate, yeah the government, and on and on.
Wonder what their parents said about the Roaring 20s, their “New” world??

I’m just glad i won’t be around to answer those questions when say our grandchildred wonder the same!!
On and on…
Be well Jack

A few years ago, I had one get to Cincinnati, go to Grand Rapids, back to Cincy, then finally to me. And for some reason, I think Columbus was in there somewhere, too.

Still waiting on this one
