I think I saw that somewhere . Looks like some nut that thinks they're an Artist got hold of it . Sheesh , they need horse whipping Twice* .

Same question I have. I believe it's not real staining. Someone messed with a perfectly nice hat.

No idea on size, but I've never heard of a sixteen-fifty model, or the overtone-edge. looking forward to handling it at least.

i tried finding info and only found one which was dated to be around the fall of '47 due to the "overtone edge" name not being seen after that period. the edge is looks to be a cavanagh edge created with different colored felt

The seller just got back to me on the PM I sent the day before you bought it regarding the size. It's a 7, with a 5 3/4" crown. Hope it fits!
