I think I see why my father love hats so much now. I have question to any one why is it i am not seeing more Stetson Sovereign like this listed? I not just looking on ebay .. AS well as the Jaxon Iconoclast I not seeing that style listed as well. I don't think the hat is rare but I guessing not many want to sell a great hat out of their collection.. I just like to find one more hat in the same style but in black.
Oh the Stetson Sovereign came in a Stetson hat box but the guy shipped it just taped shut(barely) and the shipping labels and all are all over it and the box is bit dinged up as well .
going to email him on that .. At lease he could paper wrapped the box.

One more hat by end of week i think is coming the Selentino which is labeled made in Italy..

You have indeed arrived, Ccorsair!! Super Sovereign, and you have ULTIMATE approval (if wifey likes it, NOTHING else really matters).

Congrats, and keep 'em coming!

Anyone know how the watch list at Collectors Weekly is generated? I see hats that fit the right category with high numbers of watchers that don't show up on the list.

Just curious,
A

Not sure of all the ins and outs, but Collector's Weekly seems to feature only auctions and only auctions that have had a bid placed. Once a bid is placed, it will show up in the summary. BINs don't make the list and hats with high opening bids which gain watchers but not bidders seem to be absent as well until bidding action begins, which is often at the last minute.

Here are the pics . If any one has anything to say on the hat please comment

Of course. This makes perfect sense--and it provides yet anoth reason hat fans don't bid till the last moment. Boy, are we a canny bunch!

Super fast shipper, the Stetson was here this morning. It is an amazing velour finish - best I've ever handled. It dry creased easily, and is in near-mint condition. I'm ecstatic.
