I posted this link a few days back, when I nabbed the BIN. I had no idea what I was really getting, and am very pleasantly surprised!

The hat is neither a light brown nor a dark grey, but in fact a very warm saturated brown with deep subtle red/purple tones. I believe it's oxblood. This hat is also marked a 7 1/4, not 7 1/8 in the description, but fits like a small 1/4, so you won't hear any complaints from me.
this might be the only brim under 2" (about 1 7/8") that I will enjoy wearing so far. The felt is quintessentially clay-like, similar to my other Resistols. It's wonderful, and the brim edge is in fact Cav.
more pics to come!

*It seems the link isn't functioning or the seller removed the listing already. Photos on the way.

What did I miss on this hat? It is a self conforming, Kitten finish fedora by Resistol in 7 1/2. I threw a relatively low bid out there and was surprised when I won. Seems to me to be a fairly unique and desirable hat, although a little crumpled in the photos. I hit it with a little distilled water and worked on the felt by hand for a bit, and it seems to be coming out very nicely. It is drying now, I'll put out some more pics when it is dry and presentable.

Thanks, Manfred, it really does seem to be a very nice hat. I would have thought it might have generated more interest, but lucky for me, that was not the case.
