Sound advice.

Neo, glad you're back! Survived yet more schooling, eh? Has your hat size stayed the same? :D

Thank you :). You hit the nail on the head. This has been my busiest semester yet!

My hat size is still 7 3/8. I just wear the Buckaroo custom or the Resistol cattleman most of the time. Ebay competition in my size has been rather brutal the last couple of months as well.

In the end, I've been lurking since I've nothing to contribute to the community at this time. However, with the coming seasonal weather changes new hats may be in order, and as the hat bug started biting again I've returned to frequenting the Lounge.

Despite my recent absences, my posts per day is still 4-5 lol.

I sure hope so, but in the end it'll be decided by how far into the beginning of May my final exam schedule takes me. Hopefully my last exam is before the beginning of the event.

It's May 7th or 8th, correct?

Oh.........well then I can't foresee any problems.

I guess I'll have to step up my Ebay game, then. I haven't won an auction since that Sydney's Toggery fedora.

I have an interesting situation, that I would love some inpout on.

I sold a Stetson on the 'Bay about a month ago, and I usually sell with signature confirmations. Earlier this week USPS returned the hat to me, said the buyer never picked it up, so I sent a message to the buyer via my Ebay account asking them if they still wanted the hat and I have heard nothing back!

So do I just wait and see if they respond? Refund the money and re-sell? I have never had this happen before and I would love to get your thoughts.

pjt, I'd hang onto it for a good long while. The buyer owns the hat, and maybe they went on vacation or had a family emergency come up. Unusual situation, for sure.

Agree with Randooch....... sleep on this one a few more weeks

and would add.....I would let eBay resolve this issue rather than go the decision on your own.

Don't delete anything concerning the transaction.

It would be interesting to see how it works out. Give us an up-date on this one......

I talked to eBay early this morning and they showed me how to look up the buyers phone number. I called the number and talked to what sounded like the guys Mom, she was very nice. Apparently there is an old address on the account, she gave me updated address and said she'll throw the re-ship postage in the mail to me. Printed another ship label on eBay and edited the address to the updated one, should be good to go, I'll let you guys know if something blows up.

As always, thanks for the support!
