Your new Playboy is a little unusual. The felt on yours looks thicker than what we typically see on these hats. 40 is always a good price for a well made hat in good condition. Hopefully it will fit right and look good and you will be happy with it. I too like Playboys and wear them often. Enjoy!

I've been meaning to ask. How did this one work out for you?

It worked out nice. It is a true 7 3/4 XLO, just a touch big. Says so on back of the sweat = 7 3/4 Extra Long. The felt, liner & sweat are excellent with just the ferrule of the sweatband not being pristine. The box is in great shape as well, better than other Strat boxes I have.
