Maple leaf on the liner crest, and looks like a 50's/60's LO tag, but no clue really on this one. 10x? Seems more modern maybe?

It was for science, though. I really want to know if they have good felt. I wasn't going to pay $1200, but 375 was alright. At least this one isn't burned or patched, and taking off the match will be easy. I hope it won't turn me into a pyromaniac.

Thanks gents. The specs look like something I like and the price was decent, so why not? From the photos the felt looks fairly thin but we'll see when it gets here.

I think the 10X dates to the time after Stetson sold in the 1970's & before the bankruptcy in 1986. That was the era when the Stetson brand was sold for anything from sunglasses, cologne & whiskey.

Got my first Mallory in the mail yesterday. I’m still looking for a pre-Stetson, but couldn’t pass this one up for a $50 best offer. Super condition with the exception of a few tiny moth bites. I’m not sure if this thing has ever been worn or even bashed.
Just have a simple dry bash for now till I have time to break out the steamer. Love the color and the style, and the ‘Pliafelt’ is very light. Reminds me of the Stratoliner felt.
