Any ideas on the age of this? I just bought this on impulse and my general impression from the photos is that it's an older one but I may be completely off.

It's tough with Italian hats. I would say late 1950s (could be a bit older or newer). You got a great deal! Barbisio made really fantastic hats.

I couldn't give an exact age - my guess would be 50's maybe just early 60's. Nice find.

Yet another great old Stetson, Justin... look forward to seeing more on this one. I have a No.1 quality with a pebble finished sweatband which is a later example of the mark. The ribbon bow on your post is an older style and I have not seen the horizontal No.1 quality stamping without John B. Stetson company below it. Another piece of the puzzle emerges from the waters of eBay.
