I was very surprised by the winning bid on that Playboy. Great for the buyer! Maybe people were put off by the mysterious described but not photographed "moth bites".
That's a beauty g.d.
G. Durand, that is a beautiful deep chocolate hat. I love those deep browns because they are perfect for those fall and winter days.
That sure is a cute 'bow-snapper'! I must say, that the store's 'hat-display' also has rare graphic potentials. Both very beautiful!Bought this several days ago with a Best Offer. It's so cute!

Here's an "item of interest," for sure. Imagine one of you well-heeled gents might want to snap it up.

A couple of interesting straw hat auctions... neither of them mine
*^%$!, wish I'd seen it, I'da been all over that Knox!
What a find!
Cool. It says "The Fifth Avenue" under the Knox logo, and is the model name. It was a model name they used for several decades, though the style continually changed. This one should be '50s, though possibly late '40s. The factory tag will tell us, but the leather could be dry, so be careful checking that. Thanks, man! Do you know anything about it? The model name or date? I can hardly make out the letters underneath the knox symbol.
