saucerfiend, I think 40s or early-to-mid 50s. The tip liner looks opaque, oilskin, which was replaced by clear plastic beginning in 1952 or thereabouts. Really in pristine shape for that age!

A little blurry but super looking hat LMH2

Between my low pixel cell phone camera, my shaking from having a bad day with my M.S., and wanting to get a decent set of pictures just did not work at the moment. However, about ten minutes after these pictures were taken, my Wife yelled out, "Dear, the Porterhouse steaks are done from the grill"....and all was well with me! lol! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee Haaaaaw!
