no, they weren't collegiate. i think they were brown pinstripe. quite ordianary yet quintessential. personally i don't think £100 is TOO much to pay for a pair of trousers.

Granted, they were suspenders (or braces) from the 1890s. And granted, they were deadstock, in their original box. But still!

they WERE special, not fancy, just special in a normal 1930s way. i had to delete the auction details immediately to try and forget them and begin the healing process.
