Eastman Leathers B3 Roughwear - Thoughts?

Hi all

Just bought an Eastman B3 Roughwear after debating between that and the 50. CAL.. Right out of the box i noticed the shearling is slightly on the pink side, almost like the inside of a medium steak. It looks completely different from the roughwears of past, this one seems more like a fashion jacket.

Thoughts?

I don’t see the steak comparison at all, but I think the jacket looks fantastic. FWIW I also like my steak medium rare

Fits like a glove - I'm 6'1" / 185 cm, jacket is size 44r

I think the brighter / whiter outside light may be the difference maker. The very bottom pic (Dav's?) fur color looks almost platinum blonde on my laptop screen while the one above looks more ginger. And yours looks more pinkish ginger. It might just be lighting. Is the sun out in UK right now or is it still just grey? Maybe try an outside balcony photo when the sun comes out.
I have an Eastman helmut with the fur on the inside and it's ginger, no pink.

We've had about 3 straight days of sun and blue skies, forecasted to rain for the next few days

Yours is cream/off white colour. Mine is like a ginger/chestnut colour with pink undertone.

This a standard elc b3 taken in the same lighting which i sold recently. The shearling looks more like Dav's, 'platinum blonde' as you described. It looks slightly more yellow compared to your eastman helmet.

Color aside...are you sure the sleeves are long enough for you? At least in the first picture they look rather short, which may not be so optimal in winter?

The sleeves feel just right, the UK winter is never that cold anyway.

Very good idea, or I was actually thinking of possibly taking a day trip down to their Ivybridge store.

The colour combo just looks weird to me.

Just came across this Eastman b3 50 cal without the shoulder rank badge/insignia. Is that just a styling preference? Can these be optioned without the shoulder rank?
