I thought it was common knowledge that the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.
If I boycotted everyone that offended me, I would never get to see another movie again, because just about all of Hollywood are raving mad crackpots who long ago stopped living in the real world.
You haven't seen Deadpool yet, have you?
Nope. Girlfriend wants to see it but I'm still finding excuses not to. This weekend I had a headache.
Gary Eastman's views are explicated on a Blog that is part of the Eastman Leather website -- the same website where the jackets are sold. Moreover, the IG post includes #eastmanleathers and #elmc hashtags, such that the statements are being used to market the jackets (and Eastman allowed those hashtags to remain).
I've already stated I don't share these views in any way, shape, or form, but if others do, especially those I do business with, that's their call. I won't cease doing business over such personal views; it would take something more injurious and nefarious to do that.
So, when will we get a gander at this new/old jacket design?
Hmm, "could" change. Is there some reason for this? Is there video of this "TimeWear" and how do we know it's really leather? They have a sewer named Lee perhaps? Marilyn? I'm sensing something amiss here...Eastman says less than a month. I hope to have a production sample soon thereafter for shooting fit images. As of this moment and as with all other ELMC leather jackets, it will feature subtle TimeWear to the outer shell, but this could change.
Looks like a Himel Kensington in many ways, especially with the double stitching along the main zip and chest pockets, and the gussetless sleeve zips.
I have read that the earliest J100s used double stitching in the same areas, so perhaps Gary, like the Himel boys, patterned the jacket after the early Buco models.
Personally I like this take on the J100. I wonder if it is the same leather as used in the Californian. If so, I think it may be a winner. It doesn't look like it gets the "time worn" treatment like the Californian, but hard to tell from the pics. This mild distressing is the only artificial wear application that I have ever liked (I have the Californian with this distressing).
