OP I totally understand the desire for the right now jacket as opposed to the right jacket. Unfortunately a seed of doubt is planted in your mind. My experience is they grow like a weed. Delayed gratification is better than the $450 hit when you sell it used 3 months from now.

Guys, thanks for the input. Yeah, I'm going one size down, in case it doesn't work out, I can always exchange back to the 44, it is going to cost a bit extra for shipping, but I will know what fits me better.
