Just got this beauty today. Thought I'd start a new thread. Hopefully there are more of these out there. I know Garrett has one and Marc (?).
This one is a great tan color (reminds me of a deer/fawn). Has the Paris 1900 Exposition liner tip. The liner is held in by multiple squares of paper tape. The sweatband also has the Exposition stamp lightly embossed. Retailer stamp is "Simon's Hatters Furnishers To Men Who Know 78 Grant St. Buffalo". There is a paper tag under the sweat with the number D268272 which is also stamped on the reverse of the sweat. Another paper tag is under the sweat but is unreadable. The reeded sweatband is taped and dark brown and is 1 7/8" with a very fine ||||| stitch. The 2" ribbon is a couple of shades darker than the felt and has a frayed rear bow edge. The felt is "long hair" and wonderfully moldable. The first picture most accurately shows the color. Brim is 2 3/8" and the crown is 6".
