It's the changing the times on all the electrical appliances that becomes a chore, then the digital watches, when you have to find the operating manual in 10 languages, to work out how to do it. Much easier with the old wind up watches.

Oh agreed with that one, thats why I tend not to buy anything with a clock/timer on, heck I've even got a wind up alarm clock still lol

hallejuah! I need that extra light, man.I suffer terribly from light deprivation.Just when i think I can't take anymore, along comes DST to save me from going stark, raving mad.

I'm the same way. I don't mind a good thunderstorm or a cloudy rainy day here and there, but I love sunshine and blue skies!

I'm very much part of the down with DST camp. It does nothing for me except cause confusion. And doing it earlier this year than usaul, well, that was just plain stupid. It caused so much trouble.

I don't know from stupid, but last night was the first night since DST started that I've even approximated a normal night's sleep. I could take a cross-country train ride with the bags under my eyes.

No need to call it stupid.

Not here...

Major Nick, move to Japan, our clocks stay the same all year round.lol lol
The Allies tried to introduce DST here during the post WWII occupation, but it never flew off the ground, and simply crashed after a couple of years. There's been some talk about doing it again, but so far, all talk, no substance.

I can't find anything in favor of it. It's darker later into the morning but the little extra light in the PM this early in the year is negligable. It isn't ill late May when it actually "feels" like its different bu noticibly more light on both ends of the day. Supposedly by next year they are going to end up with year round daylight savings and the clocks won't change. That's fine.

I can actually see a difference in the quality of the light, and i love it..and i'll take any amount of it.I really never seem to have a problem adapting to the time change
