During filming of "Her Alibi," was Selleck ill?

I have interrupted my viewing of "Her Alibi" to ask whether during the filming of this movie, Tom Selleck was ill. In most of his scenes, so far, he is sweating heavily while no one else is. And all of these scenes have been INTERIOR. I'm aware of Klieg lights being used for color filming, but if the lights are sufficiently hot to cause Mr. Selleck to sweat, why are not others in that scene also sweating? I assume one of the functions of the make-up artist assigned to him is to arrange his make-up to avoid what I see as obvious.

It wasn't the lighting !!

Actually he was having a tiff with Jillie at the time. He was perspiring because he was working with Paulina !!! Enjoy the movie and watch out for misguided arrows.

Klieg or carbon arc lights were made obsolete in the early 1970s with the advent of the HMI lighting. However its is the development of high speed film that is the main reason for change. A modern film doesn't need nearly the volume of light that used to be required to get a proper exposure. As a result modern film sets aren't as hot as they used to be.

I suspect the post above mine is correct, the real reason Selleck is sweating is his proximity to Paulina Porizkova!
