Dressing for Inclement Weather

I have a couple of knee-length classic rain slickers that I love; one is bright green (and lined in a vintage penguin fabric!) and the other cherry red.

Also, rainy days are usually my pencil skirt days... that way they fit neatly under my rain jacket and don't get blown around in the wind. I usually pick something short enough to be completely covered by the hem of my jacket, too, so I stay dry and protect the fabric.

Then rainboots, of course! These are what I have now, from J Crew:

Unfortunately, after about two autumns and springs of fairly frequent wear, they've got a big crack around the inside of each toe :(

Target has about 150 different patterns for rain boots - if you're needing a new pair RodeoRose, their prices are quite reasonable.

Thanks for the tip! Yeah, my J Crew boots were a gift but I know they were anything but cheap; I'm so disappointed they fell apart so quickly :( I'm definitely going to get some cheapo Target or Walmart boots this spring. I'm thinking classic rubber-duck yellow might be cute!
