I have a couple of knee-length classic rain slickers that I love; one is bright green (and lined in a vintage penguin fabric!) and the other cherry red.
Also, rainy days are usually my pencil skirt days... that way they fit neatly under my rain jacket and don't get blown around in the wind. I usually pick something short enough to be completely covered by the hem of my jacket, too, so I stay dry and protect the fabric.
Then rainboots, of course! These are what I have now, from J Crew:
Unfortunately, after about two autumns and springs of fairly frequent wear, they've got a big crack around the inside of each toe
