Dear Loungers.
The Norwegian winter is a somewhat brutal affair.
And the dreaded mixture of salt and snow, does not only mean death for a nice pair of shoes, but also for Vintage Cars...
Our purse is not exactly overflowing with cash, but we did manage to purchase a -62 Volvo Duett, which we love.
Interesting fact; -62 was the first year after WWII, where average Norwegian citizens was allowed to purchase the vehicle of their choice, without applying for a permit.
So; today our dear "Caruso" (as we have named the car) went into winter-storage.
We are renting a space in a storage which specializes in Vintage Cars, and I snapped a couple of pics today.
Thought I'd share them...
Firstly, our Caruso, next to a Rover.
Then a beauty; Vintage Duesenberger, lovingly cared for.
Guy says there are 8-10 of them in the world, but that could of course be bull****. ;-)
Then; the car of my dreams, a Pierce Arrow...
Guy is starting the restoration this winter.
Man it's a beauty...
