Double Helix Works?

Tempted by the last black tea-core Double Helix x Snake Oil Provisions (I know, I know) LA-Weight Deviant in size 48. Here are the measurements:
48/XXXLChest 25.5"Shoulder 21"Front Length 26.75"Sleeve 26.75"
I have two concerns. One, I have big arms and worry that the sleeves will be tight. Two, I'm six-two and worry that the jacket will be comically short. SOP, as y'all know, allows returns only for size exchanges or store credit. Don't love that. I'd be crazy to pull the trigger, right?

The Sleeves are pretty normal for this style of jacket. So if you're doing fine in other brands I guess you'll be doing fine with the DH. Lengths... I'd just compare the measurements since everybody's torsos are different.
Is there anything special about their version? If in doubt you could just get the regular version from somewhere else.

Btw,here is a pretty realistic representation of the burgundy in natural light. Not regretting the purchase one bit.

Thanks, buddy! Really appreciate your reply.

Was reading through this thread as I'm considering buying a used Innovator.
Found this, seems like a nice deal for DH.
42 size car coat in JP for a rather nice ~400eu price:

Also a size 40 Deviant on Vinted for 450eur

Let me know if you spot any Innovators in size 40. I'm also looking.

I'd give the Deviant that I posted a thought. Very decent price, love mouton collar. But I do like the Innovator a lot more myself as well so I understand why it might not be a good suggestion :)
It is a good offer for sure and I did like the Deviant at some point, back when I thought that Fine Creek Leon is the coolest jacket ever, but now I feel it's just lacking a bit. Maybe a bit too simple. Would fit me perfectly though.
Do you have experience with Vinted? I tried to buy one thing from there but it doesn't work in Estonia and it turned into a whole mess with trying to use my friends address in Finland and then some proxy service. Ended up losing the item to someone else.

Oh I feel you about Vinted! Hate it with every cell of my body haha. I have an account there and I just message the seller and offer to deal directly via PayPal outside of Vinted. Some agree, some don't. There are also a few folk on TFL that have helped me buy stuff directly from Vinted.

Welp, pulled the trigger on that Deviant. What seems to be special about it is its weight and the measurements of the 48. SOP is the only US DH stockist (that I know of) to sell a jacket big enough to (hopefully) fit me. I think the length will be just fine. Measured a Battenwear Canyon Shirt that fits me perfectly, and its length is just over 26.75" (the length of the LAW Deviant). Hoping the sleeves don't make my arms feel like link sausages.

Thanks again for your reply, buddy.

@ALittleBitOfCompany You're more than welcome. Though, I don't think I contributed that much. :)
Good luck and let us know how it went! I assume the LA weight is a tad lighter.
I guess the worst thing that can happen is that you have a big credit sitting with SOP. They got a ton of other cool stuff, so it's not a loss.

As far as Vinted is concerned. It's decent, you can always work out deals outside their system. That's how it worked in the past, when it had more of a Craig's List character. Also depends on the seller.
