Hello all...I just got a couple of hats out of the blue (strange how they start gravitating your way as if compelled by nature). One of them is a Early 50's Dorfman Pacific. The gentleman told me that is when he bought it, but only wore it a couple of times. In researching it the company has been around 80 years and mainly makes outdoors hats now. Any ideas on their older fedors? Perhaps its a bit of a rare bird?

I will post pictures of it when I can and since its not my size it will most likely end up for sale at some point

Here it is. The Stats are:

Crown 5 1/4"
Brim 2" Overwelt design
Size 7 1/4
Inside Circ. 22 1/4"

The liner is white satin and attached with 3 tint glue points (the back and each side)

Thoughts?

Thanks
M

Your Dorfman hat was made by Bollman in PA during the 1980's not 1950's .
They make hats for everybody -all of the jobbers like Capas, Dorfman , ect .\\

I hope that you enjoy it . Thats what realy counts .
