You spy a pile of killer hats at an antique store, get all giddy, and discover none of them fit you. Argh.

I found two vendors today with tasty lids that were made for munchkins. Oh well. I guess it makes finding the ones that fit that much better. All these were 6-7-8 - 7-1/8. And prices were roughly $15-35.

There were some nice Stetsons and Mallorys, a Resistol and a few Champs and a Adams if I remember right. Mostly late '50s and '60s lids. This was my favorite and really really really wished it fit. For the life of me I can't remember the maker. aristocrat? Is that a maker? Wonder hat. But a 7. :(

That is a real shame. I have the same problem; I see a nice vintage hat but most of the time they're too small for me.

Unless, of course, I want to look like Hercule Poirot wearing a hat, where the brim rest half way between his crown and his ears. I know that was the way folk wore their hats back in the day but its not something I'm comfortably with. I like the brim just touching, or just slightly above, my ears.
