What a happy looking retriever!

When I was like four years old, I had a golden retriever that saved my life. I was walking on the counter of the kitchen and fell backwards off of it. My dog Buddy ran from the living room and laid down right where I was going to land and broke my fall.

Needless to say since then i've always had a soft spot in my heart for retrievers.

Enrique(coach) PM'ed me that Canelita was hit by a car. He saw the accident and took Canelita to the vet, but the legs were severely injured, thus the wheelchair.

Thanks Perry (and Enrique for the PM) for the explanation. I don't think I'm the only one curious about what happened. Canelita is indeed a warrior Enrique and you are a Saint for your actions. I'll add that Enrique made the wheelchair himself. It's obvious from your posted pixs that the bond is beyond the ordinary between you two. I salute your compassion!
