I wonder what the fedora selection was like in the Soviet Union ? Probably as varied as their automobiles...

Yeah the Lenin statue doesn't cause quite the stir here in SF as it did Des Moines, Iowa where my Grandfather lived as a Journalist for the Register. He did a story from the Soviet Union in the 70's and brought it back. I never did get a chance to ask him why Lenin. I would have preferred Marx or Trotsky or even Adam Smith for a hat stand.
Here is a picture of him with Winston Churchill and Truman right after the famous "Iron Curtain" speech. Unfortunately he is the guy all the way to the left with no hat. Any idea what kind of hats Churchill and Truman are wearing?

I'm kind of fond of Groucho myself, he was so funny.

Groucho would make a great hat stand. I love this picture. My grandfather said the guy who was eyeballing him out of the corner of his eyes was secret service.
