2 3/4 inch brim. I found this on a snowman and rescued it (I wish I were kidding) my sewing back in the band isn't the best but its holding and it does the job. It has moth damage that you can see clearly in the photos. I really have no idea what to price this for because of the damage. I THINK $65 shipping CONUS is very fair. The colors are amazing and the burgundy really pops on the brown. It doesn't have size tag but it is a 7 1/4 from my measurements and how it fits on my noggin.

Lets be frank and realistic here OK....

The hat is a Beater at best, it shows extensive wear at the Sweat Band, has several Moth holes, Brim repairs in black stitching, Liner is well Faded and showing wear......this Dobbs has been well used and worn for many years by someone whom I'm sure enjoyed the Hat...
Its worth maybe $10 or $15 dollars Shipped.
Sorry to be so Honest, just saying what I see, nothing personal.

Yah, it has its scars--who doesn't--but I wonder what someone like Bob Jessee could do with it. I wouldn't call this a dead hat yet!

It's a Twenty with a wide brim. I've paid more for hats in this condition. If it were my size I would buy it.

Matt, is that an actul homburg or is it just the way you have the brim turned up in the pics? I've never seen a homburg with pinches like that...

It's a fedora with the brim up rsther than a homburg. A homburg would have a wide brim binding and a curl to the brim. But you can pinch a hommie like a fedora, of course.

Speak for yourself! While I agree it's definitely a beater, I think beaters are the best kind of hat most of the time. If I had a 1940s Whippet in mint condition I'd be afraid to put it on my head! Not to mention, beaters are more in my budget. I'm sure I'm not alone...
