I just saw this one for sale, and it got my interest.
Can someone educate me a little on this one? From wich period?
How much do i expect to pay for this one?
It's a 7 1/2 and made under license in Italy.
number one, you've just alerted every FLounger with 7 1/2 head to its existence. Expect to have doubled the price you would pay.
For a hat of this quality of this era and in this size, oh, maybe 75 euros would be normal - if the american market is alerted and willing to pay shipping. I've found that the euro et brit market are only really prepared to pay big bucks for home products or Borsalinos. Depending upon where this hat is for sale, you might get it quite cheap.
Congratulations on your first Dobbs Cicero, and welcome to the Lounge!:eusa_clap
It appears from the photos that it would most likely be from the very late 1950's to about 1966-ish. A better trained eye than mine would be able to nail an era down though, and there are plenty who are qualified. It looks like it may need a bit of a brushing and cleaning to get the closet dust off but other than that it's a nice looking lid. Enjoy and post some pictures once you receive it. :eusa_clap
@DanielJones.
Thanks for the reply.
I have it already in my home because the seller lives in the neigbourhood.
As you said, it's time for a good clean up now.
Do you mean the first pic's in this topic?
It's the same hat but the first pic's are from the seller, and the last pic's are taken today by me.
That's the one i was chasing at.
