My family moved into an older house on a couple of acres when I was a kid. My brother and I found a box full of really old baseball cards in the barn. They were old then, and that was around '69 or so. Years and years later while living in Columbus, OH my wife asked if she could have the cards to see what she could get for them. I'm not an avid baseball fan or card collector so I didn't mind. She ended up remodeling our kitchen with the proceeds! So I realized the value of my find about 20 years after I found it.
