I definitely have a routine! I am a total creature of habit.

In the evenings after I get home from work:
- remove makeup with Albolene cleanser and a hot wash cloth
- follow with Boots rose skin tonic
- change into comfy clothes

Right before bed:
- apply a layer of cold cream (Walgreens store brand), then remove with warm wash cloth
- Boots skin tonic again, apply Estee Lauder advanced night repair serum, and Boots overnight bergamot skin cream
- brush teeth
- tweeze eyebrow strays as necessary
- Pick out clothes for next day

Mornings:
- Wake up, see husband off to work
- make & drink a k-cup of coffee
- feed the cats & dog
- empty dishwasher or start laundry
- hug on my orange cat for a few minutes
- evaluate hair & determine if I need to wash it or not
- layer of cold cream on face, removed with hot wash cloth
- Brush teeth
- Shower & shave, wash hair if necessary (usually every 3-5 days)
- Apply lotion all over
- Boots rose skin tonic & regular spf moisturizer on face, top with Boots rose vanishing day cream
- Rose salve on lips
- if hair was washed, blowdry & style it
- Get dressed
- Apply daily makeup
- Touch up hair with curling iron as necessary & spray
- Extra lotion & cuticle cream on hands
- Run out door

Heck no I don't. I wish I did! My life is way too unpredictable though.

Get up, make coffee.
Check emails, feed critters.
Hang out in pjs and get any computer work done til the laptop battery threatens to go dead.
Locate something to eat.
Grab a shower.
Chat with the inevitable neighbor stopping by.
Make sure I have whatever I need for whatever organization might be meeting that week that I'm involved in.

Now, if it is an outside chore/beekeeping kind of day, moisturizing sunscreen and maybe at least eyebrows. Hairband or scarf. Most likely shorts and a t-shirt.

Else, unclip the curls, put a face on and dress in something that makes me feel pretty :)

Look in mirror, rub eyes, take deep breath.

Cleanse with Pond's Cold Cream, wipe off with baby wipe.

Moisturize with St. Ives Collagen-Elastin moisturizer

Dust with Coty Translucent powder

Fill in eyebrows with brown pencil

Revlon Certainly Red lipstick

Another deep breath, and out the door.

Definitely!

Morning:
  • The "teeth" thing (brush, floss, rinse)
  • Remove remaining layer of Nivea from the night before with Olay Age Defying Daily Renewal cleanser
  • Rinse cleanser with cold-as-possible water
  • Pat dry with washcloth
  • Apply a layer of Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentrè
  • Apply facial sunblock (Neutrogena)
  • Apply makeup
  • Fix hair, get dressed, etc.

Night:
  • Shower
  • Neutrogena Body Oil immediately after shower
  • Layer of Pond's Cold Cream
  • Again, the "teeth" thing
  • Get dressed
  • Remove cold cream with warm washcloth
  • Rinse face with cold water
  • Pat face dry with washcloth
  • Thick layer of Nivea (German formula).

Morning
6:25: Wake up, groggily check Twitter. Think of reasons I'm excited to be out and about today. Wash face, brush and floss teeth and start shower for boyfriend.
6:40: wake up said boyfriend, stand in front of my closet wondering what I'm going to wear. Assess possible assignments and weather.
7: the getting dressed process begins:
Makeup: tinted moisturizer, under eye concealer, cream blush, mineral powder foundation, nude eye colour, liquid eyeliner, white power under eyes and under brows, two swipes of mascara both eyes (same hand then wrong hand).
Drink coffee boyfriend has lovingly prepared as I take hair out of rollers, brush it with bristle brush, add pomade, brush through with wooden paddle brush (actually a wig brush). Try to avoid tossing my end papers in coffee cup.
If I have time: read blogs, make smoothie for breakfast on the go. In the winter, remember to command start car 10 minutes ahead so I don't have to do as much frost scraping.
7:53 am: out the door!
8 am: Arrive at work, put on red lips (I don' put it on until I'm at work because G will refuse to kiss me when I drop him off if I'm wearing it!) and check FL! Then, you know, work.

Night
9:15: Shower - wash face, body wash, shave if needed, wash hair (yes, I have to wash my hair every night - it gets too heavy otherwise!)
Brush and floss teeth.
Slather self in lotion. Put Vaseline on my horrible cuticles.
Toddle around the house tidying up to let my hair dry if it's early enough in the night. If not, blow dry on cool setting.
Put hair in rollers: Green (second largest) on top layer. Yellow on subsequent bottom layers. (smallest) if I need to on the short layers at the bottom. This is done either in front of the mirror or in front of the TV watching Big Bang Theory, The Canadian Dragon's Den or Criminal Minds :D
10 pm: Sleep time!
